Major Latin American Congress of Psychology

In Latin America, made several congress both national as well as international. In my opinion three of the most important congress in the region are just organized by the three psychological institutions most relevant in these countries, the Interamerican Society of Psychology - SIP, the Iberoamerican Federation of Associations of Psychology - FIAP and the Latin American Union of Psychology Entities - ULAPSI.

Respectively congress organized by these institutions are:

"Interamerican Congress of Psychology "

"Iberoamerican Congress of Psychology"

"Latin American Congress of Psychology"

As well as Merry Bullock raised an interesting presentation:

These three organizations respond to very specific definitions and possible professional identities in Psychology.

Just in these days (20 to July 24, 2010) is doing the VII Iberoamerican Congress of Psychology, Asturias, Spain:

Soon the Interamerican Society of Psychology held its Third Regional Congress in Asuncion, Paraguay, during the 4th to August 6, 2010:

The XXXIII Interamerican Congress of Psychology will be held in Medellin, Colombia, 26 to July 30, 2011. Certainly the Interamerican conference of the SIP are the most important event of Psychology in Latin America. These conferences cover the main areas of psychology, have an average attendance of 2500 people and usually have about 20 concurrent sessions.

For the XXXIII Congress of SIP it is possible to send work for submission to the consideration of the Scientific Committee:

For these reasons I would respectfully recommend you consider participating in this conference.

Best,

Marcelo Urra
